Sunday, Sunday, Sunday!

Today was spent in a way that is our MOST favorite way- with FAMILY! Mason and I went to my parents house in Tullahoma. We saw all the aunts and uncles and had a great time, eating, relaxing and visiting. It was such a nice time. Mason took a walk with Grandpa all the way to the school to play on the play-ground. He also showed Grandpa and Nonnie how he can do a wheelie! Thanks Mom, for putting Mason down for a nap, he really needed it! I love being around family, I always feel like I can relax and let Mason run around... There always seems to be someone to watch out for him. I really got to just chill out! That was really nice... I even took a nap.... YIPPEEEE!

I do not go home too often, but when I do I get very sick for home. I love the idea of living in a small town and raising Mason in the environment that I grew up in, but I love the perks of the city! I know that M'boro is not, "all that and a bag of chips," but there is always something to do when I need it. All I can ever think of to do back home is go to Wal-Mart. I love Wal-Mart, but not that much. The most and BIGGEST thing that I miss is being around family and my parents. My Mom and Dad will tell you that I always promised growing up that I would never live back in Tullahoma, NEVER. So far I have made true on that promise and I am sure as long as Curtis works in Nashville, I will have too! Maybe one day we can move closer and be around for more things with the family! I know it will really hit home when Brian and Katie start to build there families and have children, but for now, I will have to settle for the seldom visits and the ache in my heart form HOME!
Love you all so much and I had a great time!

  1. I'm so glad you are able to go home often and spend time with your family. That is so important and you are lucky to be so close to home. And its always the best to have help watching the kiddo, right?!? Well, I hope you are feeling better today. :)
