Mason loves bull dozers and diggers. I guess it is a boy thing! We went on a bike ride on Sunday and came across this and guess what? It was unlocked! I let Mason out of the bike trailer to take a look. He was amazed. He has never been this up close to a bull-dozer before. He pushed buttons and sat in the seat, he even made me close the door. I guess he wanted to see what it was like to be a "dozer driver!"
Here's to not getting caught! I am sure it was not illegal because we were doing no harm, but it felt like if someone saw us, we might run- FAST!
I am sure you made his day. Even if you had been "caught" who could have kept a little boy from enjoying a doozer?
ReplyDeleteI can imagine it was so much fun seeing how much Mason enjoyed it, but added to the uncertainty of whether you should be touching it must have made it pretty memorable! :)
ReplyDeleteSo cool! The library in the town we use to live in had a Big Rig and Bake Sale every year. It was on Saturday morning and all the locals brought heavy equipment and other vehicles and the kids could sit on it and such. It was great fun! And a great fundraiser for the library!
ReplyDeleteA magical WW to you!
so cute and I'm pretty jealous of that red hair and the weather there!!
ReplyDeleteOh my son would have been thrilled - you are far braver than I!! What a fun treat - I bet you are thrilled you had your camera with you!!
ReplyDeleteA little boys dream come true! :)
ReplyDeleteYou know I almost biked over there to let Alex play on them, we see them everytime we drop Beth off for school.
ReplyDeleteHe's a sneaky little booger isn't he?! Go Mason!
too funny! do you have the construction foreman dave video series? my boys LOVED them when they were his age.
ReplyDeleteOh my Joshua would have LOVED that too! How cute and fun!
ReplyDeleteYou're such a fun mom! Love this. And he is just PRECIOUS!
ReplyDeleteso much fun!!! look at that little construction guy! so cute!
ReplyDeleteHe is ALL boy huh?! I love that you skirted the "rules" to let your boy have that moment he will not soon forget!
ReplyDeleteI knew you had a little bit of a wild side to you. LOVE it! Haha. I took Tristan to a Touch a Truck festival once where all the kids got to hang out in these. We were allowed though so not as much fun.........
ReplyDeleteThis is great! The pure epitome of little boys!
ReplyDeletethank you so much for your sweet comment! also, love the name Mason...Kaia, our firstborn and a girl, would have been Mason had she been a boy. {sometimes we still kick ourselves for going with Blake instead of Mason on our second child.} And last, love the word Murfreesboro...love just trying to say it!
ReplyDeleteToo much fun! Brian lets Ryder do the same thing and when I am with them I totally feel like I am their "look out."
ReplyDeleteHa..living on the edge! How exciting for him to get to sit in a bull dozer. Dreams do come true:)
