I found this quote on-line while I was pretending to work.... I think it is a great point.
I am going to try and remember this the next time Mason is yanking on my pants leg. I can get all that I need to get done during nap time and after bed time. I hope this quote makes you remember to "stop and smell the roses."
"If you're a stay-at-home mom or dad, the main point to remember is that you're staying home to raise children and spend quality time with them, not to have the perfect house. With toddlers, a perfect house is an oxymoron!"
Let me know what your thoughts are or what you do to "stop and smell the roses..." I would love to hear from you!

I need to have a sign made for Scott and remind him why we chose for me to stay at home and raise Alex.... LOL! That's a GREAT quote! Really!!!!
ReplyDeleteLove this quote. Thanks for the reminder!!! One of my goals since having Tave is to give Weston some fun mom time. So I have some fun backyard activities planned: sidewalk chalk, playing with little toy fish in a kiddie pool (still have to buy the pool, haha) and painting, etc.
ReplyDeleteI could use some other ideas, though, so let me know of yours!!!
