A Crafty Birthday

My birthday was so different this year. I felt so blessed and overwhelmed with happiness. Not that I have not been happy on my birthdays before, I have been. This year, I just feel extra happy... Having two boys and a husband to share my life with make each and every birthday that much better!



First off, Curt's Mammie made me this long scarf. I absolutely love it and I have warn it several times already. It was so sweet that she gave it to me, I thought she was making it for herself...

I made this scarf on a knitting loom. I am obsessed with knitting looms right now, they are easy to operate and fun too. This scarf is very warm, I am not crazy about the green, but it adds a pop of color to my black coat.

I also decided to make myself some jewelry. That never happens anymore. I always start making myself something and think, "ohhh, so and so would like this, I will give it to them..." Crazy, I know, but I hardly own any of my jewelry. I either sell it or give it away...

I wanted some chunky bracelets that did not match any one particular thing. You know, so I could wear them with different things. I picked up a bag of random stones and rocks that was just perfect for what I wanted to make... Curt's Mom and Mammie watched the kiddos while I crafted away... It was bliss!

Some of my finished product. I got a bit carried away and made 5 bracelets, so I might put a few of them in my shop... Not sure yet!

Christmas Orders, Part I....

The reason for all of this sporadic blogging is all of my Christmas orders... I have been busy, but it has been a blessing.

If you are looking and do not see your jewelry, do not worry, it is done and it all shipped today... YIPPE! I am just behind on posting.


This is just a show off post, I am in the process of combining KIKI & LELE blog and this blog to make things simpler... Also, I am re-naming from KIKI & LELE to
LP Designs. I know it is not super creative, but I wanted something that would cover all of the stuff I like to make.

The ETSY shop will also get re-done as well... Trying to get bids on all of this fun stuff from fellow ETSY-iers. If you know anyone who does logo design, please send them my way...

I had a hard time getting good pictures, it was a nasty rainy day yesterday... Go figure, the sun is out today and everything is already packed and shipped.... Oh well.

I love this one, it has an aged look to it and it is just perfect. I have one that says, "I love you like crazy glue." I always say that to Mason, I am not sure where crazy glue came from, maybe because it rhymes?

I love this one, I wear it on my "sassy" days.... As a SAHM, I need a little reminder sometimes between diapers and bum wiping and nap times that I still have a little Sass!

What I've Been Missing

For those who know me it is no secret that I LOVE TO MAKE THINGS. Sometimes I get a little carried away, but that is what can happen when you really love to do something.

I have been missing "my outlet" which is crafting things like crazy lately.

I have decided that I will be re-vamping my much neglected ETSY shop. In fact I may open a whole new one. Well, maybe not. Still not sure about that one.
I want to start in a new direction. I have recently been told by a few friends and family members that I should sell the "other" stuff I make... "Other" meaning not jewelry, I already sell that.

I have really been missing making things and I got a ton of practice this summer and so now I am ready to sell "other" things. It should be an adventure.

My jewelry line has been much neglected as well... I kind of just put everything on hold while I was pregnant with Miles. Now I am ready to start it up again.

I am going to be advertising on other blogs, doing give-a-ways and some major sales for Christmas...

So, keep your eye out for what I have going on. When I get my ETSY updated, I will be posting the link HERE just for you to see.

These hand-made shirts are my absolute favorite lately. There are so many possibilities. Now that I have had plenty of practice, I have it down to a "T".






So keep your eye out for new designs as well... I will be selling these for a great price as well.







Wouldn't you just love to get one of the adorable shirts for your daughter, niece, neighbor, best friends child, grandchild??? I can also make a matching hair bow if you are ordering a girl shirt...

Prices to come soon. New, updated shop to come soon. "Soon" in my world means, most likely in a week or so. I do not like to work while my kiddos are at home or awake. So I will be doing all of my work while Mason is at school and Miles is asleep or after bedtime...

I had a BIG order from the local shop, Mesh, that carries my jewelry. These bracelets a great gift. These were purchased for a Sunday school class, there were actually 15 of them, this was all that would fit on my little table.

I love this necklace.

The disc is domed and polished. Mine has 2 pearls, one for each of my kiddos. How many would yours have?
