First, we stopped by the "Centennial Grocery" store {Grandparents own} and talked with Pa, ate a sudder {sucker}, Helped some customers, helped Aunt Laura with the potato salad for tomorrow's lunch.
Then, we went to see Granny Fran. She had surgery last week {which no one failed to tell me}- so we thought we would see if she needed a helping hand. She was so happy to see us. She was totally surprised { we kept our trip a secret.} I would have taken pictures but she was in a back brace and she might not have liked that (I do have pity and the sick and afflicted.)
Then when we {Mason} got too cranky, we headed home. By the way, he never took a nap... He is such a little soldier some times...
We had a GrEaT day!
Pa got some new chicken's and rooster's... This was one of the rooster's running from Mason...
ps- don't forget to check in with Kiki & Lele from time to time to see what we are up too....
Oh my goodness, your trips sounds so lovely!
